There's a fairly significant winter storm warning in my area today, and it may result in power outages and fantastic stuff like that. I'm just hoping that it'll be the fun sledable stuff and not the icy wet version. ;)

play it straight and own your name

Okay, so I admit it. I cringe at the thought of taking outfit pictures. I have this internal freak out whenever a camera is pointed at me and the result is typically some sort of awkward wrinkly facial expression or deer in the headlights look (which is why I'm ALWAYS looking down in outfit pics). And I would also like to note that I don't really find my daily outfits all that interesting. ;)

So for 2010, I intend to get over my camera issues and try to just be me in front of the camera. AND learn to use my somewhat high-tech camera in a mode other than the green automatic one. That said, I did find an brilliant iphone app that lets me use my phone as a wireless remote to take pics. It even shows each shot on the phone so I don't have to keep walking behind the camera to check things out. Best $3 I ever spent.

And most importantly, I LOVE MY BLOG READERS. You guys are the best. I have so many recommendations for skinny jeans to check out today! Yay!

quick question...

What is your favorite brand + style of skinny jeans???

I'm desperate for a great fitting pair of skinnies -- I'm so tired of wearing oversized shirts to cover up for my ill-fitting jeans. My requirements are:

no ultra low rise. i want 'em to stay up and not slip down every time i sit. this is critical.
plenty of stretch so they don't get baggy after one wear, but not legging tight (just right on the cusp...true skinnies but not cigarette, if that makes any sense)
less than $100, unless i can be convinced they are truly amazing and worth the extra $$$

Advice, anyone? You guys are always so awesome with stuff like this. ;)
