I purchased this safari shirt dress from old navy a month or so ago, and I've been waiting on the weather to warm up before giving it a go. It's a few inches shorter than I had anticipated, and I think the boots make it look even shorter. I'm just not sure that it works for me. What do you think? Maybe lose the socks?

I am not crazy about the socks ... maybe if they were black ... I think a flat boot or flat shoes would look great ... this dress looks great with gladiators ...
Cute dress- the boots & socks make it look a bit clunky. Pair it will embellished thongs, gladiator sandal, or even a cute ballet flat to make it more appropriate for spring. Throw your hair in a bun, add some pretty dangly earrings, and you're all set!
I agree, the boots are just a bit much. The weather wasn't quite warm enough for sandals, but I'll definitely give it another try soon. Thanks for the suggestions!
