vintage levis and a new wall

I found these vintage Levi's at a thrift store and cut them off for shorts. Not bad at all for $3, and more budget friendly than the $48 version at urban (you can buy the same pair at the Levi's website for $29). I'm not a big fan of the pockets hanging out, but I'm not sure that I'm ready to cut them off and risk the chance of forgetting that they're not functional... Any opinions? Pockets or no?

2-sided top ($18), aa from bare accessories. shorts ($3), thrifted levi's. sandals ($19), f21. handbag ($68), melie bianco. sunglasses ($17), aj morgan. necklace ($28), remedy jewelry.

If you have other jean shorts without exposed pockets, I'd just keep this one for variety. (and vise versa)

i am the lone opinion and thing you should cut the pockets. i think you can then sew them shut so they could be somewhat functional if you forget you cut them

thanks for your suggestions! i have to agree with what michelle said, it's the only pair i have with exposed pockets, so i'll keep them for variety. i can always pin them up if i change my mind one day...
