1)
Bare Minerals Foundation ($24) - I'm not going to ramble on about this one. If you're not already using Bare Minerals foundation, then buy it. Now.
2)
Skinceuticals Ultimate UV Defense SPF 30 ($32) and
Renew Overnight Oily ($37) - I love Skinceuticals products for many reasons. The SPF moisturizer is oil-free, non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and doesn't irritate my ridiculously sensitive eyes. I wear it EVERY DAY. The overnight cream contains hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin and prevents flaking. I use it EVERY NIGHT.
3) Olive oil ($10) - This is hands down the most effective moisturizer I've ever used on my body. It's 100% natural, inexpensive and your skin will feel incredible. Seriously. Odds are it's already in your kitchen cabinet. I put a few drops of lavender oil in mine.
4)
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($5) - I have long thick lashes, but they are completely straight. A few years ago I obtained a critical piece of advice that has done wonders for my lashes: after you curl them, use
waterproof mascara. It dries faster and remains in place better. Brilliant. Now my lashes stay curled all day.
5)
Juice Beauty Apple Exfoliating Peel ($39) - This non-irritating peel is the ultimate solution for flaky skin, especially in the winter. I use it once a week.
6)
Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray ($7) - Spray this light mist on right after you apply your makeup (but before your mascara) and it will set your makeup and give you a dewy glow.

do you just use the olive oil alone?? how do you apply it?
cici - I just use the olive oil straight out of the bottle, pour a little bit in the palm of my hand and apply. A little goes a long way. If you prefer something less liquid, you can use coconut oil. It works just as good.
