- no ultra low rise. i want 'em to stay up and not slip down every time i sit. this is critical.
- plenty of stretch so they don't get baggy after one wear, but not legging tight (just right on the cusp...true skinnies but not cigarette, if that makes any sense)
- less than $100, unless i can be convinced they are truly amazing and worth the extra $$$

What is your favorite brand + style of skinny jeans???

I love f21 jeans, and also, this is kinda weird, but I have a few pairs from the kids section of h&m. I'm a size 26 in european sizing and about a 2 in us sizing, and I usually wear 14-16 yrs in h&m kids. They're a lot cheaper and come a little longer if you're tall or wanted them to scrunch a little at the bottom

cheap monday. they're not low rise but not high waisted either. color seems to stay true. i've bought mine at urban and they've become my go to skinnies!!

try free people! random, i know, but i just bought a pair of their "velvet" skinnies (which are now on sale, i believe!) for around $60 or less and they are super stretchy, fit great, and look even better!!!

F21 jeans-surprising good but look worn/tired after 2 years (I wear them weekly) Cheap price-they don't look fancy but have a "real" casual look (does that make sense?) Usually when jeans fit my hips they don't flatter my small butt but F21 jeans do. Lots of mid to high waist styles and depending on whether you want your butt to look bigger or smaller, the back pocket sizes also vary. F21 jeans flatter any-sized woman. However some F21 jeans ARE legging-tight and going up a size means it won't fit elsewhere.
They're more than your looking to spend, but DL1969. They are the BEST jeans I've ever bought. I wear them for weeks without washing and they ALWAYS feel like they've never born worn. They're a really good investment. Hope that helps! Can't wait to see what you decide!

I agree with Posey, J brands are fabulous and definitely worth the price. And a lot of times they go on sale or you can find them on hautelook, gilt, or ruelala. Good luck hun!
J Brands are great but you MUST buy a size smaller - they stretch a full size and then you'll end up pulling them up constantly.
Cheap Money are less than $100 and great skinnies.
And as sad as it is to admit my Gap skinnies are my favorite jeans in my closet.
american eagle has some decent skinnies that arent skin tight, they have nice colors and they arent super low rise and they hug the ass perfectly. i love their jeans.

my favorites are j.brand and true religion skinny johnny jean without button butt pockets. they make my butt look outrageously good, but they are pricey. i have a bit of a bootie, but a small waist so it's hard to find cheaper brands, but i really like martin and osa jeans(the have a great white pair right now that i want soooo bad) and i also like hollister, they are made to fit the tiniest teenybopper so i end up having to go up a few sizes, which sucks. oh, and you should totally try the new gap jeans, the always skinny are amazing. i probably have too many pairs of jeans if i can type all of this.

I only own one pair of jeans (sad, but true) from Off Fifth Saks Avenue. The brand is Vigoss and the rise falls just one inch below my belly button, so it helps eliminate the muffin top effect. Good luck, Carrie! Can't wait to see what you find. - Luna

J Brand for sure... they are 138 for the jeggings and they are A-may-zing!!! I have them in dark blue wash and black... sorry they aren't super cheap but super chic.
